  1. Research, research, research, preparation is key make sure you know about the market, the company, and the role you’re interviewing for
  2. You know you’re going to be asked a few tough questions, well try planning your answers in advance
  3. Practice makes perfect, so try getting a friend, colleague or family member to help you, by posing as your interviewer.
  4. Don’t be late; ideally you should look to reach your interview 10 minutes early.
  5. Try and dress like everyone else does in the same type of role, your objective is to look like you already work there!
  6. Take 3 clean copies of your CV / resume and any other proof materials you may have, also a notepad and pen.
  7. Make a good first impression with your interviewer.
  8. look to enjoy you’re interview, relax and be yourself.
  9. Always answer honestly it really is the best policy.
  10. Don t be scared to ask your own questions at any stage if unsure or anything though don t ask about holiday and money before you are asked.
  11. Smile and make natural eye contact throughout the interview. Natural as if speaking with a friend not unblinking stalk eyed psycho- killer stuff.
  12. Employers love a positive, upbeat attitude, for you the glass is always half full!
  13. It’s important at the end of the interview to confirm you interest in the role. Ideally pointing out your most relevent skills, experiences, personality traits, and how you look forward to using them in the role.
